December Memory Dex

Been busy making some Memory Dex cards for the December challenge. I have to say my cards are very simple compared to some the other ladies are making but I  like the simplicity of mine. I have lots more to make hopefully I will get them done.

Enjoy your day.

Mystery Box

Got my Cricut mystery box today !!! lots of goodies !!!

December Memory dex challenge

Back again I know it has been a long time since I have posted.
I joined the Facebook group Memory dex swap because I found the cards being created wonderful and wanted to learn to make some of my own.  There is a current challenge to make a card a day in November for use in December leading up to Christmas. A contest was held to win pre cut pieces of chipboard and paper to create your own box to hold the cards and I won !!! Assembling  the box was so easy. So starts my journey of creating Memory Dex cards.
The reindeer and Merry Christmas are cut files from TreasureBox designs.

Crocheting and a card

made this hat for my daughter using a free peaked hat  Pattern from yarnspirations.

the pattern is a challenge on the Crochet Crowd on facebook. I will be starting a crochet along challenge next week  we will be making an afghan but we have no clue what it looks like we will get a step a week for the next 10 weeks I will post pictures as I complete each step.
I made this oh so cute ladybird card using a file from Creative Kuts.  I will be giving this one to my granddaughter.

Pinterest Angel

I made a few of the angels that are being re posted all over Pinterest. they are very easy and quick to make. I used a round  plastic bead for the head and a star bead for her halo. I think they turned out cute. So I call this one a pinterest success. you can find the instructions here http://funezcrafts.com/Easy-Angel-Crafts-Wire-Cross-Angel-Ornament.html

Happy 2015

hope everyone had a wonderful New Year
I went into the city with my family day before my birthday to see the Christmas Spectacular at Radio City Music Hall and the tree in Rockefeller center. I broke my little toe so had to wear slipper boots because I cannot get my foot into any of my shoes that was not much fun needless to say. The show was wonderful and the tree fabulous even if we did see it during the day.

Merry Christmas

Hope everyone had a wonderful day. Christmas at our house was fantastic the children and grandchildren were all happy with their gifts.  I was very happy with gift certificates for dinners out yeah no cooking and new charms for my Pandora bracelet. I gave everyone a new dvd that I covered using the tutorial from Pinterest on September Ninth's blog   I loved her idea and just had to make these they were so easy to make. I can see me making them again for birthday gifts it just make giving a dvd that much more fun.
