Merry Christmas

Hope everyone had a wonderful day. Christmas at our house was fantastic the children and grandchildren were all happy with their gifts.  I was very happy with gift certificates for dinners out yeah no cooking and new charms for my Pandora bracelet. I gave everyone a new dvd that I covered using the tutorial from Pinterest on September Ninth's blog   I loved her idea and just had to make these they were so easy to make. I can see me making them again for birthday gifts it just make giving a dvd that much more fun.

coffee cup

I made some gift card holders using the tutorial found here the instruction were very easy to follow but I somehow ended up with 2 cups of different sizes wonder how I did that guess I should have followed the measure twice cut once rule. well they both turned out cute I think.  Merry Christmas in 2 days my grand daughter is so excited she keeps telling everyone it's 2 days till Christmas !!

bag in a box

here are some little purse gift bags I made using the bag in the box technique I have always wanted to try one of these. They really do go together very easy and fun to make. I used the basic directions from the tutorial on Splitcoast stampers changed the paper sizes to create a wider and shorter bag so it looked more like a purse. I can see all sorts of bags by just changing the size paper you start with. I did not add the bottom edging as I thought the paper was pretty enough. My daughter filled these with goodies for some of her co workers. Have a great day.

chapstick purses

I made these cute little purses with the help of a video from Frances Martin aka Frenchie she shares how to make many wonderful things and I just love listening to her.  My daughter put  a chapstick and some candy in each for a little gift for her co-workers.
that's it for today back to Christmas crafting

trying again

So since I last posted my husband had a triple bypass heart surgery that we were shocked to find he needed. He is healing great and back to almost regular activity.
I have started crafting again. I made this card for my brother and sister in law using a free cut file from Birds  she is just fantastic ! she creates wonderful cut files that can be used on all the cutting machines.  I had fun making this card.
